Commissioned and premiered by the Bloor-Annex Brass Ensemble in 2023, this work is a maximalist and brazen exploration of the brass ensemble.
This vaguely impressionistic work, written in 2021, explores a series of modal and contemporary textures. The study of techniques such as Messiaen’s limited modes of transposition were pivotal in writing this piece. Joseph Park performs this work brilliantly.
Inspired by a visit to New York City in 2022 and written for the TSO's call for scores, this piece explores the variety of sonic influences from metropolitan cities in my compositional process.
This work for chamber orchestra was written for and performed by the Toronto Chamber Symphony after being chosen as a winner of their call for scores in 2022. The piece was conducted by Aidan Taylor, and the audio recording was done by nowheresoundrecording.
In writing a piece for solo contrabass tuba for my recital in 2023, I wrote Expanse. This piece explores the lyrical and articulate low register of the tuba, as well as certain facets of tuba performance that may surprise some listeners.
Shostakovich's 10th Symphony, Debussy's La Mer, Ethel Smyth's Overture to "The Wreckers," and a new commissioned work are featured on NYO Canada's 2025 album.
Alongside my brass quintet colleagues, we recorded Kevin McKee's "Vuelta Del Fuego" in Koerner Hall in January 2025. I worked with this group as an Orchestral Scholar at the Glenn Gould School.
Enrique Crespo's Etude for low brass instruments in the style of Bruckner. This recording was performed live at the Domaine Forget de Charlevoix Academy in 2023.
To conlude my Advanced Certificate in Performance at the University of Toronto, I performed this recital in April 2025.
In the Hannaford Youth Program's 22-23 season, I won first place in the Rising Stars Solo Competition. This recording was captured in February 2023 from my final performance alongside the Hannaford Street Silver Band.
